Indeed had two trust folders. Changed that and deleted one. no result
Cache dir are writable
php is the same as before.
So basically you're telling me that I have to find out if and which module isn't compatible.
Ouch, had I known that...
So I reckon all I can do is deleting them one by one hoping it is the right one...

Just upgraded from 2.16 to 2.4.1. Did the upgrade but updating the modules and/or database can not be done because I get a blank page trying to open the admin section. Emptied template_c and the cache dir. Any help is very welcome!!
Using php5.xx and MySQL 5.xx

Yes, I just did. There was a message that said the file couldn't be found (while submitting). That made me think. I had cached the whole site on server side. When I switched it off the problem disappeared.
The slowness was temporary, it should be much quicker now.

Meanwhile I have treturned to version 2.0.16 of XOOPS but the problem persists, although not everyone is confronted with it

I did put the code in the footer (system-preferences-footer) and as long as your theme has the <{$xoops_footer}> in it this works flawless...

I have no clue if this should be here or in the modules section but:

I have installed the latest XOOPS 2.3.3 upgrading from 2.0.16. Works fine except: when downloading a zipfile using wfdownloads 3.2 the zip can't be unpacked. with 2.0.16 I could without a problem. Anyone have a suggestion?
