imagemanager problem uploading GIF

When using imagemanager for uploading files to use in news or guestbook it gives an error invalid file content when uploading .gif images. uploading .jpeg and .jpg works fine.

Anyone an idea on how to solve this?

Ok, I found out that root_path and virtual path can't be followed by same gallery_address because 1 does require a slash they other doesn't.

So I made two variables gallery_address1 and gallery_address2. Now it's working...

Except for the exif info not showing up on detailed information. No debug errors either.

Again, can someone please help?

I installed xsgal last week. Trying to use it gives me an debug error:

Warning: opendir(/usr/local/apache/htdocs/uploads/xsgal/) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in file /modules/xsgal/include/functions.php line 59

In settings.php I set this for the gallery address: /uploads/xsgal/

Anyone who knows how to solve this problem?

When you edit an article in Smartsection you see a button Image Manager. When you click that one you'll be able to upload a picture to your server and then use it in the article.

Hack for Who's Online block

I'm using the systems who's online block and I would like it to display recent users aswell. For instance users that logged out 15 minutes ago displayed as:

last seen:

Username 15 min ago

Can anyone help me how to build this? I know it has been used in Runcms (an old clone of XOOPS 1) so I hope some programmers can help me out on this.

In the admin section you can copy the templates from your XOOPS system and edit the copied templates of your news module to not show posting date and time.

Then set your system to use the modified templates.
