The system theme select block will display screenshots - edit the block then select show screenshot. You can also set the width of the screenshot. The screenshots must be named 'shot.gif' according to modules/system/blocks/system_blocks.php and in the base directory of the theme (themes/yourtheme/shot.gif)

CBB has very flexible and granular permissions - every category and every forum can have different permissions and you need to assign permissions to all of them, none are assigned by default. Do this in the CBB module administration under permissions. You can create a default permissions 'template' and apply to all the forums at once, to save you some time. Then just adjust those you wish to control more closely.

The example shown is incorrect - WITHOUT trailing slash looks like

/home/magic/public_html

Did you move everything out of the XOOPS subdirectory and to the root directory?

The RBL plugin checks the IP address against blacklist directories for IPs that have been registered as spammers. Your address is in one of them.

I have submitted an article here - informing everyone of the opening of www.XOOPSdocs.org - and I hope it will be approved soon.

XOOPSdocs has opened as the companion site for www.XOOPSwiki.org as a library of completed XOOPS documentation.

Tags doesn't work on its own - it is simply a way to enable other modules to have a unified tag system. If you have a module that is already built to support Tags, you should be ready to go. On the submit form for creating your post there will be a tag form. Enter tags and submit the post.

Enable the tag cloud block and the module does the rest.

Smartsection 2.13 is tag-aware and there is a hack to make News tag-aware, and there is a version of Wiwimod that is tag-aware.

modules/smartsection/view.tag.php simply includes modules/tag/view.tag.php and has no other content of it's own. There is something else at play here and we have experienced the same thing - we just disabled the tag bar in modules/smartsection/templates/smartsection_item.html. Still trying to work this out.

The tag cloud block can be customized to vary the size of the tags - just edit the block and you will see.

Approximately 25 new pages were added to the wiki in the last 30 days -

With the unavailability of dev.xoops.org, efforts are under way to recover the information in the dev wiki. Jen, Giba, Carnuke and Rabideau had also worked to replicate this information at HelpXOOPS. A copy of the wiwimod database from HelpXOOPS has been received.

Work Plans

Updating of the Operations Guide with current information, screenshots, recommendations and standard format.

Consolidation of documentation guides.

'Starter Pack' module documentation - a list of first modules to install after installation XOOPS - as an answer to the question - "I've just installed XOOPS. Now What?".

The Addons Team is undergoing an examination of the old module packs and we will work closely with them and the community in developing this documentation. This has been produced by Sato-san from Xoops-magazine - in conjunction with members of the XOOPSAddons team. A version with updated english files should be available on XOOPSAddons shortly.
