yea i tried it all. custom avatar upload is set to YES, size limits are defined to 1024 x 1024 and 10 Mb (to make sure i can load that little avatar which is 128 x 128 and about 4 kb hehe) i set the UPLOADS folder attributes to 777 and still. maybe avatars are stored in any other folder? im out of ideas..

oh i've noticed another thing. when i try to upload jpg files it said wrong file format, but when i try to upload gif, it said wrong size. but 1024 is more than 128 goddammit

when i login and click VIEW ACCOUNT then AVATAR i see that users can upload avatars. but when i click BROWSE then SUBMIT it always says "Invalide image file" but it fits the restrictions. why? some dude told be on this forum that i have to upload avatars through admin/system but thats nonsense like users gonna send me avatars and then im gonna upload every of them ...cant they upload them themselves?

Hi, I use xbs tags module to change title and meta tags for any script withing my XOOPS site. i inserted 2 additional new lines users should fill when registering KEYWORDS for their profile and TITLE. So I changed meta tags and title for /modules/profile/user.php and it works well if you write stuff like USER PROFILE as a title, but the thing is that when change it to like {$title} (which is a variable for TITLE line in the registration form) it doesnt show the title user mentioned but shows exactly what i wrote - {$title}. How do I insert variables in title and meta tags?

Hey, I can't PM or Email to Registered users. I get a blank screen. Mails can be sent to other groups, but not to registered users. How do I fix it? (btw i've tried every mailing way from php mail to smtp auth)

No error message, just a blank screen. The weird thing is when, instead of a general MAIL USERS function, I use a newsletter module EVENNEWS and check EMAIL TO ALL REGISTERED USERS I get the same blank screen. But it goes alright when mailing to admins only or to subscribers..

Hi,

I have trouble using MAIL USERS function. When I go to XOOPS admin index, click USERS then MAIL USERS and check send to ALL REGISTERED users it fails to send a mail. But i can send a mail to admins. I have about 400 registered users. What's the problem?

Hi,

I've got a problem. Users can't upload avatars to their accounts. I've tried myself and it didn't work. The image I ws trying to load through View Account/Avatar had proper properties, and /uploads attributes are set to 777. What's wrong? Avatar uploading is allowed in Preferences...
