And, maybe a silly question, but..........
Did you check the file permissions?
Any possibility of changing them with the update?

Sorry if sounds stupid

Another way of doing that is to include a static item on your main menu.

Search the foruns with "static link".
In order to embed a static html file in your XOOPS invironment, you need to include some php?s tags in the header and footer sections of your static html code.
Browse wiki.

Hope this helps

Hi selwin

This is a very good wish.
Till now I never heard of such module.
Let me know if you find anything.
But It will be really usefull.

Maybe with some possibilities of sending resumes and a very good search facility.

The contractors could post the jobs offers , the futures employers could search or even receave those offers by mail.

Well, just wondering......

Hi Guys

Can you help me pointing me a good step by step tutorial on installing and using XOOPS on a Intranet invironment?

I have to install XOOPS on a 5 pc?s windows lan and I?m a little bit confused on how to access my home from the others computers than the server.

I?m planning to use EasyPHP as my package.
So for instance on the server I write the urlhttp://localhost/www/xoops and I?ll go into my site, ok?

What?s is the URL that I have to point to from the others pc?s to access my home.

I?m new to this kind of thing, so any help, words of wisdom or enlightment will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

I think your problem is the path to mainfile.php
Why don?t you try to short yuor "(../../../../../mainfile.php): " path?
Once this solved me a problem like yours.

Hope this helps
