ThemeChanger module version 2 works very well with 2.0 sites.

I use only one theme - Multiple themes (IMO) seems less professional. I'm just funny that way. But thanks for the suggestion!

Excuse me if I'm being stupid, but what are you talking about? If you explain a bit better then people can help you better.

True. I should of repeated the title of the post.

There used to be a hack - I saw it around 2 years ago that you added to provide Page Titles to the Xcgal Module. I wrote one - but I was looking for the old one - somehow I remember it handled what I am trying to do better. Just thought one of the old timers would have it handy.

BTW your site's awesome.
Did you make it or was it done professionally? (or did you do it professionally?)
You must have spent a huge amount of time on that site

Hey! Thanks! I appreciate that!

Yip, I made it. Still working on it. Lot of refining still to do, etc. It's in the "I'm Google Food" mode at the moment. I hope to have everything I have planned for it done by the end of November. I highly recommend the IPB module by bbpixel. (NO OFFENSE!!!!) But it makes you wonder why the X-core hasn't migrated towards including it or mimicking it. Again, my opinion - no offense intended!

Anyway, If anyone has that old snippet of code, great! If not, no biggie. I'll keep plugg'n away. I'm sure I have it somewhere on a test box.

I wrote one from some references I read, but I'm sure there's a better one lurking somewhere....

My suggestion would be just delete this thread, it's rather clear the attention seeker is here just to do as GH has indicated. Then PM GH and ask her to re-announce these additions.

I'm sure she'd welcome it.

This is the last time I will address this - its freaking silly (sad). It's a dead subject. A subject that was taken care of within 30 mins of me getting a shout from a peek.

To continue posting rants, etc., (IMO), provides one with the impression of -nothing more than- someone grandstanding (spamming), swinging the "look at me look at me" banner.

TO Bloody SUMMARIZE..... (again in E-n-g-l-i-s-h and saying "Bloody" in my best British Accent)

You started right out the gate making accusations. I can only guess that you may not of had your E-n-g-l-i-s-h reading glasses on.(?)

The first sentence in your post:
Quote:

I guess you feel good taking credit for other peoples work?

You might read the very first post (*my Spam*)
Credit was given. (now edited and cut of course)
Credit was given -File Download Description
Credit was given - Readme included in theme
Google Cache of my site shows credit

Now, I don't claim to be the brightest colored easteregg in the basket, but I'm quite confident anyone - of even limited intelligence - (and provided they can read in E-n-g-l-i-s-h) would summize that credit was given/attempted in several areas.

The only credit *I* took was making the conversions. I guess I should of said something along the lines as the logo image of this theme conversion was done by (insert theme name here) osmosis .....

Again, as far as I am concerned, this matter is closed. (wow i heard cheers in the background! )

This thread is about two themes I have offered freely -no strings attached - to the Good Peeks of Xoops. If you insist, you can continue to hijack this with (IMO) spamage of look at me look at me -ism's. shug - makes no difference to me.

-To the Xoopers- Really am sorry ^ this ^ was carried out here and you all had to trudge through it. Sucks I know.

Windows2K Easter Egg!
1. Right click the mouse, go to properties and backgrounds.
2. Choose clouds tiled as your background.
3. Click apply then ok, and go back to the main screen.
4. Click on my computer, and then change the name to my microsoft, don't move the mouse.
5. A video of bill gates, and some other software developers will appear if you don't move the mouse.

Ahhh the voices of reason creep through the ...um...(stuff you scrape off your shoes)

Stewdio - thanks for reminding/pointing out that I did give credit. It's not like I stood up on the Pillar of Pooron and claimed the work as an original.

Personally, I find the whole thing funny. It would be one thing if it is (or was) in fact what Pooron was (is) trying to make it out to be - He could of saved alot of waaaah'n if he would have just popped in, said, "hey, that's mine - could you do this or that..." I would have (gladly) done it. Moot now.....

Well, Pooron doesn't have anything to waaah about now so maybe he'll just fade and this whole thing can be chalked up to a great learning experience! (use words like "interpretation" vs "conversion")

Wonder if easter peeps are on the PETA hitlist?

Wah Wah Wlah Wah Waaaaah.. sounding like Charlie Brown's teacher!

Ok, cleared up!

The themes have been altered and I removed any reference and credit I gave to ?your? themes.

It wasn't that hard, the only image used prior - that was similar - was the logo.... and even that was shopped

Actually, this was a good lesson. Next time (if there is a next time) I convert a theme, I will change it enough to ensure any finger pointing temper tamptrums -as witnessed-suffered through-laughed at- will be avoided! (sowwy to the xoopies that had to witness it)

So you can calm down now. Grab a Cadbury Egg and relax!

Happy Easter!

When you downloaded my themes you were bound by my agreement which states:

Wow! pull your panties out of that bunch!

First of all, I didnt download any theme. The site I viewed was a Phpnuke site, i thought the theme was simple and the colors were nice and proceeded to make a theme based on it for Xoopers - just my way of thanking the peeks that have made such a wonder CMS.

If the site I viewed had provided credit on the bottom of who the author was, (blah theme by xxxxx) i would have been more than happy to provide who the original design was based on. It didn't - so i did include what i did know and provided the names of the themes they were based on, this was also included in the readme file that was included.

If you can provide me with the necessary proof that this is indeed your design i based the XOOPS version on, i will gladly include that in as well as in the readme.

See! easy! tempertamtrum not necessary!

In the future, if i do any more converts, will be sure to change them enough and add different things to avoid finger pointing.

Stay well and Xippy Xooping!
