I use WF-Links 1.08 on a 2.5 installation and the latest listings is working fine for me.

On topic, as I have mentioned before (although I of course realize this would take some work), I think it would highly beneficial to have a very clear indication (suitable icons or similar) in the module repository to show which versions of Xoops it compatible with, similar to what they have on joomla.org (although I must admit that using my sites from 2.3, upgrading to 2.4 and then 2.5, I haven't really encountered many, if any, compatibility issues, I guess I've been lucky).

Regarding XoopsPoll, v 1.31 works with 2.5 and version 1.32 (which Mamba is working on) is exclusively for 2.5.

Yes (and probably since the XIM scripts are loaded on every page), only problem is how to fix it. There should be some way around it though, since I simply cannot believe that I would have to uninstall XIM to get the jQuery effects in extGallery to work.

OK, I've found the problem. It's conflicting with the XIM module (which you, BTW, have uninstall completely to remove the conflict, deactivate is not good enough). Has anyone got these modules working together or have any tips on how to make that happen?

My kids gave me my first grey hair, but this is starting to turn my whole head white. I simply cannot find out what is wrong. Now I get no errors in Firebug, but in my installation I simply can't get the jQuery effects in extGallery to work, regardless of theme or activated modules.

Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

Edit: Just to clarify, not even the ordinary "overlay" on mouseover in the album view is working, so when I move the mouse over the thumbnail I just get a link straight to the picture.

No no, I didn't mean there was anything wrong with the module.

I tried it on a clean install of 2.5.0 and could get Lightbox and Fancybox to work, but not the others.

Now, back to my orignal site, could it be a conflict with some other module?

All settings are OK.

Checked with Firebug and I do get an error for the script:
"$ is not a function" on line 566 of public-album.php.

Could it be that it doesn't find/load the jQuery then?

Tested, but didn't work with that either.

To be clear, what exactly should I need to do to enable the jQuery effects (in a "default" environment) and what exactly should be the end result? Just so I'm not expecting something that shouldn't even be there.

Trying out extGallery on my new 2.5.0 installation and I simply can't get the jQuery effects to work on pictures/albums, regardless if I have yes or no for jQuery in the preferences and regardless which effect I'm trying to use from the album admin page.

Any tips?

Redid it and now it works. Thanks for the help.

However, I do think these instructions should be included in the download package as well.
