I get an error as follows:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/....../public_html/class/textsanitizer/config.custom.php on line 1
error log says:

using:
MySQL version 5.1.48
Apache version 2.2.15

i use it for a couple of months and it works perfect. The only issue I still can't figure out is to get the advanced search feature working. I suggest you read the documentation that's included it quite a bit to read but should get your going. There is a lot of posts on the forums on this mod. I suggest you do a google search for "xoops dms module", since i notice that d xoops search is not showing all the available results on various occassions.

if I can remember Trabis, version of this mod had all stuff removed, the mod was leaner. probably he can guide you somehow.

It would be great, however the module chatting window scrolling with the page issue still exists. It would be good atleast if it would be docked at the footer of the screen.

Hi trabis I cloned the block but seems not working. the previouse posting are not clear. How do I create a second block. The original block works great. Thanks for the mod, very much needed

News module has been with us for some years more that any of the other similar modules. I consider it stable even-though it falls short when it comes to displaying of content. If more efforts are put towards developing this mod we can take it anywhere we want. Long term commitment to developing this mod is key since other mods start with lots of energy and are suddenly abandoned or not update regularly.
Publisher works fine, I have tested it but can't attach and image using the SVN version. I know Trabis is great developer but as we read in the news post he is currently focusing on Xoops core developments. When he is ready for our support we can also help him.
For now let's focus on supporting dnprossi with the (x)news module since he is willing and has taken on this challenge.
Let put in the SVN for faster testing and reporting bugs, and track request, etc.

I tried using it over a vpn(SSL) and the bar at the footer didn't display. But on the local LAN it works great.
