creating database page using php

I would like to create a database page using php. however, I will have to use a MySQL database that is not in the XOOPS database. Is this possible?

Finding the SQL Database of Xoops

I am using XOOPS by way of my Hosting Comoany. What I would like to know is How do I go about finding out how to log into my Database? Using myphpadmin.

I would like to know if you can use an external database with xoop within the blocks? PHP Database ofcourse.

Thanks I have not made any changes to my database. and I am on a hosted server. This message just started appering in the last few days, I thought it was due to an increase of traffic.

How is the order of block calculated. For example is a block on the right side with a number of 1 the first block on the right side?

I am using xcGallery Version 1.1 on my site www.sk8photos.com

I noteiced that when I visited the site and clicked on most viewed and wanted to click on a thumbnail for a closer look I got a different photo. can anyone tell me how to troubleshoot this?
