Yes. I did it when i updated the module. But after your post i did it for one more time. (new name default3). But still when select "Classic" i dont see any news.
Plus
I deleted all files from "templates_c" & in general settings "Update module template .html" is set to yes.(if it could be of some use)

If its working for you, Then again i might have done some mistake. But i didnt edit any file and i follow the instructions properly while updating module.

Need your help.

Ahhh I was thinking that might be the reason.
It was working before but not working now (after upgrading to news 1.4)
I already reported this.

Thanks a Million

It turns to be that it was "allign=left" that was messing everything. I just edited my first post in this thread and now its looks perfect.

I just think that XOOPS dont like to allign thing Left

Ok now for my second small issue.

I know its some kind of configuration issue but what to do if i want to have 10/15 Latest News with detail ( no matter from which topic) on the News page. (Not on the main page of the site)

Presently when i go to mydomain.com/module/news I see One news with detail and the other just sow up as title.

I am really sorry (I am stupid )

I didnt checke it with the default theme.

Now, With <br> tag it adds a new line with everytheme. Without <br> with default theme it works fine. With all other that i have The second image always starts after the first one ( not inline in as in my first post)

1) XOOPS 2.0.13.1 & News 1.4
2) If you are asking about the pic then its the default block (index page)

And i got this issue with all the versions of News module (1.1, 1.3, 1.3.11 & now 1.4)

It looks like there is some problem with HTML tags when using in news module. If u have any test site try it yourself. Yow would not be able to link two images in one news without adding space between them ( i bet you )

I am no expert so if i am to edit any template file. Please guide me what to edit.

I dont think its related to CSS.

I have seen few other XOOPS sites and all of them have the smae issue. I mean the second image in news post either start after the first one or <br> tag adds a new line. SO I guess its a small issue with module.

Thanks for your reply.

I am testing this module for mp3 and wma files. It is a great great module to put music collection online. Just never thought to use it for flash. I will give it a try.

I was thinking may be some kind of gallery module will work. Currently i m testing "myalbum-p 2.8"
It seem to have problems so i thought may be there is some better module for flash files.

If anyone use Flash Files on website. You can give me the guideline to work.

Hi

I want to have a category in my web where I will have Funny Movies. All of them will be small flash files (.swf).

Users will be able to see/play them online but will not be able to download them.

So i need help to know which module will allow me to put them online in a good/proper way ?
(upload should be by ftp)
If anyone already having anything like it. Please give me the link so that i can have some ideas.

I am actually trying to save the space. I already did it by reducing the font size. Now this emty line will trouble things esp when i will have 4/5 links to show in the news. So i need to remove this.

Please help me.
Any way that i can report this to hervet
