Thank you both for the quick response!!

I have tried two approaches:
1. redirect as you suggested. I don't use cpanel, so I put the location in the index.php page. It works fine except it showed redirected URL after redirection.

2. I used iframe to put the long URL page into index.html of the subdomain page. This way, it only show the subdomain address, but then when I click something else in the page, since it is inside a frame, even it showed another page it still show the subdomain address :)

Compare them I think redirect is better.

But is any other options ?

Hello,

I try to map this long URL:

http://www.mydomain.com/modules/mylinks/visit.php?cid=1&lid=1

to a subdomain like:

http://link1.mydomain.com/

So when I typehttp://link1.mydomain.com, it will either show the content ofhttp://www.mydomain.com/modules/mylinks/visit.php?cid=1&lid=1 (the best) or redirect tohttp://www.mydomain.com/modules/mylinks/visit.php?cid=1&lid=1

Is there any way to do it?

Thanks. That's the one I am using right now.

The category edit and del does not work for me. I have to add "echo $output_str;" in index.php to make it work for me.

Thanks!!

It is the language pack I am using. Find the problem by using the English evrsion first and then slowly replace it with the language transltation. I found the issue, now it is fixed.

Hello,

I try to insert an image with imagemanager, but it doesn't work. But it works when I switch to Language English.

So where should I look for the problem? The laguage file for the module or something else?

Help needed to create new block for existing modules

I am trying to make some block for some usefull modules like "Contact" ... so I can put them in my main page with other blocks.

Is there any FAQ or post on this topic? Thank you for your help.
