After struggling for 2 days, I managed to find the issue.

The xxxx_newblocks table was not updated after the module update. I manually updated the values for the weblinks module which fixed the problem.

Hi Ghia,

Yes, I did an upgrade from weblink v0.93 to v1.95. and I just over-write the directory on files on my local test machine first and on sucessfull test I moved the entire directory to production (via FTP). I suspect something went wrong on the Database side.

I have set the reload template on the general preference and cleared the cache.

I am not sure what else to check or how to debug. Any hint will be helpful.

Hi Ghia,

thanks for your reply. I did some research and found on the recent link block. the data presented on the template is wrong on the production environment.


Production System
Module Directory: time_update
Order 12


Test system
Module Directory: weblinks
Order time_update

In summary, the directory name is wrong. I am not able to figure out where is the problem.

Could you please help.

Usually you get this error if your installation was not successful in the 1st attempt.

In such case just login to your database (using phpMyAdmin or any such tool). Delete all table for that module. ( you can check the list of table in the module SQL script.)

Thats all you need to get rid of this installation error. (The other option is to add a delete command on the SQL script but I would not recommend that).

I am on classified v2.0 so i will upgrade it to the new version. I am assuming that the upgrade will be an easy task.

I just noticed i am getting an sql error

0.000605 - SELECT * FROM time_update_config2 ORDER BY conf_id ASC
Error number: 1146
Error message: Table 'xxxx.xxx__time_update_config2' doesn't exist

Hi,

I have just upgraded my site to xoops 2.4.4. Ialso updated mytab and weblinks.


Every other module is showing data on mytab except weblinks.
the same combination is working fine on my test system (local host).

Any idea, how to debug it.. I cant see any error on the debug mode.


my environment details:
weblinks v1.95
my tab v2.2

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.4.4
PHP Version 5.2.8
mySQL Version 5.0.91-log
Server API cgi-fcgi
OS Linux
