I'm really sorry...but, I'm confused.

That link has the last rev of 10/29/2006 v.2.01

What should I be looking for there?

Well, I've cleaned up most of the formatting/theme issues with Dokuwiki and my test site...and I am left with the one major "problem"

The internal search function within Dokuwiki does not find anything; i.e., always returns "Nothing was found."

I have tried v.2.00 and v.2.01. I am using XOOPS 2.0.16

wizanda...you say that you have it working?

What version?

phppp...can you help me with a place to start troubleshooting to see why it does not function?

...yuckkk.

It looks like the only way to do it is to edit the HTML for every doggone image..

<a href="http://www.mydomain.com/uploads/fullsize_image.jpg" target="_blank"> <img alt=" " src="http://www.mydomain.com/uploads/thumb_image.jpg" />  </a>

I really don't know if this is practical, with hundreds of images to include.

Thanks, Steve..I was afraid of that.

We are struggling to get a functional Wiki on a site...it will be a tech manual of sorts, with a lot of thumbnails on each page, and the desire to allow the user to click the thumb in a friendly way to see the full image.

We used Dokuwiki on another project successfully. That has syntax that lets you construct a statement with thumb and full-size in one line. But we have more problems with the XOOPS version of Dokuwiki, and some of the issues are deal-killers....so, we are working now with Wiwimod.

If I find an easier way, I'll post it.

Wiwimod or WYSIWYG question...

Not sure if this is a Wiwimod question or a WYSIWYG editor question.

How do I construct an image in Wiwimod that is clickable to open in a new window?

I want to have thumbnails within pages that are full-size-viewable when clicked...but not by advancing the browser to a new page...
..I would like a sized new window to open (or I guess a new tab in FF)

I hope I don't have to edit in a target="_blank" for each image...

Any ideas?

thanks

I had 2.00 installed...and just replaced it with 2.01.

The internal search within Dokuwiki was not working in either version.

It appears that the XOOPS Search function cannot find any contents on Dokuwiki pages.

..also, the Search within Dokuwiki finds no contents either.
(using v.2.01)

Any help? ..or ideas?

With no search capabilites...the module can't really be used.

Thanks

Just an update... there is a 2.01 that seems to fix the button issue as well.

Scrubbed and reinstalled...started transferring pages.

Observations:

On a shared server, the response is ponderously slow, compared to Wiwimod...hope to try on a dedicated server over the weekend.

Image insertion is still quite hosed...what are the loads of random-character-named files and folders that appear in the Uploads directory?

Problem when creating a nested-new page...the new folder is created without proper permissions, so the create command fails... have to go in and change the permissions on each new one.

Admin-Config wouldn't work because the conf folder wouldn't let the webserver write to it...
...when I fixed that, the Save destroys the local.php file and yields a /word.idx error

Found out the way to change configuration is to directly edit the dokuwiki.php file.

I gotta tell ya...this is a tough cookie to get working and use.
I need to sit with an FTP client running and a text editor ready to go..just to use it.

Doesn't look very promising right now. (sigh)
