OK, I went through the 1.3 upgrade, and even did the 1.3.11 upgrade. Everything seems to have gone fine, and I have updated all of the permissions. But, non of my News is posting to the front page. It used to on 1.1 and now it won't. Even when I click on News it doesn't show anything. My Recent News block appears to be working and if you click on an article there it will show you the article. I have checked everything that I can think of.

HELP!!! Thanks :)

P.S.
If it helps you can se the site at U-FLI Website.

Where in the Contact Us module do I find the subject header that is being used for the confirmation e-mail that goes out to the user? I want to modify it a bit.

I'm running a small business and at its center is the website and web applications that I am developing. I am currently on a shared hosting plan, but can see the need in the next year to move to a virtual server or maybe even a dedicated server.

My question is, does it make more sense to go with a hosting company, or do it myself? I'm sure that I can get more of a server for the money than I will with a hosting company, but I have to take into account the connectivity to the web that the hosting company may have versus what I may be able to have for the price.

So, where is the point that I need to be thinking about hosting this myself versus a web-host?

When I setup my site I didn't know much about the persistent connection choice, so I left it as off. Now after reading about optimizing my site, I realize the this may help me. How do I go abount turning it on?

I have a couple of users that are having problems loggin in. Mind you it is only a couple that I know of, doesn't make sense that it doesn't effect everyone.

They enter their information into the login block and it takes them to the "Thank you for loggin in xxx". Then when they come back to the page, it still has the login block, they aren't shown in the Who's Online and they don't have any permissions.

I read another post that sounded similar to this and they were having to login twice. I had them try that, but still no luck, everything the same.

I'm using version 2.0.9.2.

Sorry for the confusion, Bassman. I made the suggested change, but am not seeing the effect. I will try that style sheet editor and see how that works.

Thanks for all the help.

You guys are awesome! Thanks.

TJ, great theme, thank you... I still have some more colors to adjust as the Forums aren't looking so hot.

Please take a look at my site United Flyball League International. I am having a problem with the left most coloumn. It needs to be sized a little smaller as it is wasting space, I think I am also wasting space on the right. I can't figure out how to adjust it.

I've seen this mentioned in several posts, but have yet been able to find information on what this actually means? How does one update the system module?
