CBB Update

Am I correct to assume that if I update my CBB module, I will lose the "tweaks" I've made to the templates and preferences? Is there a away to avoid losing what I've done?

For instance, if you use a forum module, all the images that are used in that module will have this spacing, possibly making for some unneeded gaps. It's your choice. I don't know the amount of space you need (want) your images to have. Feel free to play around, but be sure to backup your stylesheet as a precaution.

Hi there,

In the <img> tag, you can set vspace="1" and hspace="1', substituting the 1 to the spacing of your choice. I don't recommend putting this in a stylesheet, as ALL your images would have this setting.

Jason,

Go to the Admin section, under Misc. select "templates". You will then see a default template group that you can "clone". Once you clone, you may need to generate templates if there is a red number beside each module.

After you clone the template set, be sure to go to preferences and select your new template group as the default template set.

I'm not at my XOOPS computer, but I *think* I covered each step.

Let me know if you have problems.

Actually I just stumbled upon it while I tried to figure out what was what. I think I fell out of my chair when I came across it. LOL

I'm using 2.2.3 and there doesn't seem to be any errors (yet) :)

I can definitely answer #2 for you, it just means go back to the last page viewed.

As for #1, have you cloned your templates yet, and then set the default to the cloned set?

You need to generate templates for those modules. By clicking "generate" you will be able to select the files to generate.

If you do a search, you will find that a few directories are available as betas, there are no final versions with what you are looking for yet.

I believe that we all are "winging it", so to say.
