Turn on the "Debug" and see the error messages.

You probably don't have anything in the trustpath, which should be defined in the mainfile.php, or you didn't define the trustpath in the first place. So start there...

Under normal circumstances, if you put the right files in place, it's not possible that XOOPS would not recognize CBB 3.08.

So there has to be something wrong with your installation. You can PM me your login/password info and I can take a look into it, or you can delete everything, and install everything from scratch.

Hmm, I don't see that many negative voices about cbb/newbb. Sure, all of us are looking for new features, but I don't see many showstoppers.

Personally, I'm working a lot with cbb as the moderator here, and it works for me just fine.

But I have to admit that I didn't test the other forums like newbbx and xforums.

I don't know - I would do a backup of the database, and then reinstall it, but first delete everything from there.

Anybody with a better suggestion?

WARNING

When I tried to open it with InternetExplore 7.0, I got a pop-up window telling me:
