Change your theme stylesheet to reflect the color you want. Your style sheet should have a style something like td#leftcolumn. Just edit that with the color you want.

Hi,

I have had those Smarty errors before. Here's what I suggest:

Update the Extended Profiles module,
Update the System Module,
Then check to see if there are any templates that need to be generated (Admin > Misc Tools > Templates). Any numbers in red indicate a template needs to be generated.

As for the PHP Notice: it's only a notice that something has not been defined. When you turn off PHP Debug, it won't show.

The correct way to have alternate text with your image is:

<img src="your_image.gif" alt="your_text">

Hello and welcome to Xoops.

It would help if you provide what version of XOOPS you are using. The extended modules came bundled with XOOPS 2.2.3, you should have installed it when you installed Xoops, if not, then under Administration, click on the install icon by Extended Profiles.

2.2.4 is just a PATCH. You will need to upgrade to 2.2.3, then apply the patch.

Need to move database

Due to incompatibility issues with my host's version of MySQL, I need to move the database only (not the XOOPS directory) to a different server with a compatible version of MySQL. Is this possible, and if so, do I need to change anything other than the mainfile.php?

It is my understanding that this module is not compatible with 2.2.3. It was replaced by Extended Profiles.
