Doesn't work

The block doesn't show on the main page

Debug gives me

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in C:\xampp\htdocs\class\xoopsblock.php(157) : eval()'d code on line 1

I see that MRBS does not create any of it's own blocks

Does anyone know how I can create a block to show on the main page with that days date as the default?

Copying the URL into a block won't do it because the URL contains information pointing to the active day on the screen

for example:
the URL for today is
modules/mrbs/day.php?year=2013&month=05&day=30&area=1&room=3
the URL for tomorrow is
modules/mrbs/day.php?year=2013&month=05&day=31&area=1&room=3

So if I put
modules/mrbs/day.php?year=2013&month=05&day=30&area=1&room=3

in a block, it will always show the events for 30 May, 2013 regardless of the active day month or year

Found another problem

when you look at the Agenda view, either week or day, it shows an event at the start time only

It should block off the time and show the event for the entire time it is on, start and end time, like Outlook calendar does.

Right now I use Outlook to track calendars for employees and Contact.

I wanted to set up an intranet because Outlook can't be shared across a network and Business Contact Manager for Outlook is crap and won't share across the network. No surprise there, it's Microsoft, so it never works as advertised.

But if extcal can't display appointments properly, it's not really useable

How can I get this to show the entire time that an event happens?

I created the cloned module on my localhost.

Should I install it on the localhost and then copy the files to the server?

How do I run an update for a cloned publisher module?

I installed the original publisher, then cloned it with different names

How can I update these?

yes, in the editor

instead of having a fixed URL for things like pictures, URL links, etc

<a href="<{$xoops_url}/article/bees>the life of Bees</a>

instead of

<a href="http://www.mysite.xxx/article/bees>the life of Bees</a>
