version 1.X had been tested a few months back, and it failed in a few places but it worked in many others.

we have sence moved to version 2 as we learned from the mistakes made in version 1.x

cerrintly we need ideas and suggestions on what we should have in version 2, and from there we will know how it should look.

I use it in CN ( calibernation.com )
but cerrently I have CN under some remodeling.

you can post this in the module's section of news, and post it in helpxoops.info


If you dont mind, could you tell us what you did to make it work in 2.0.17 .

Give them a few weeks to make the needed changes " if 2.0.16 " doesnt work on 2.0.17 .

so why dont you use fantastic installer?

it will install XOOPS 2.0.16 for you.
php,sql db all of it.

as for your theme, I have many non tabled css themes running on xoops.
Its a pain to get them to work right, but in the end its worth it.

the smarty's for the themes got abit more chalanging after 2.0.14, but it alows for more content and more flexability on what you can do.


I would get pod's CS3 addon if you going to make a theme for xoops, and i would spand some time checking out a older theme vers a new style theme.

The best way to learn about somting is to give it a try.

when you user your fantastico setup, you had a admin name and password.

use those to log in, then go to the admin section

add and remove blocks, upload moduls and activat them in admin.
