I don't know enough PHP to help with your MOD request but I'll buy a robot! HAHA!

It would be nice if you could send something to represent you, if nothing else. lol

I don't have the skills to realize either of them either, but I'm sure I could find a great uses for both! ;)

I'd really like to learn more about what it takes to develop a mod. but right now I can't even get beyond what article management system I should use for what..

I really wish that all of the article management systems came with sample articles so you could better judge the systems look, feel and features that best suit your needs.
All of it is very interesting though!

- Your articles look really great, so I'm sure you've been there! lol!

- Simple PayPal module
(Cross post/]PayPal module thread

Maybe a crafty modder could take a whack at the donation mod (an already released and well organized, great mod) and morph it in to a simple product mod.

(no sweat for anyone on the dev team if they had an evening free I'd bet.)

The OSCommerce mod is great, but overkill for some little things, where something like this would be ideal.

- If the Radio buttons could call the descriptions in with the PayPal link, you'd be good to go.

- Maybe an easy fork with out a million man hours?

- You can use my product sample too!

As far as a simple PayPal module, maybe a crafty modder could just take a whack at the donation mod (an already released and well organized, great mod) and morph it in to a simple product mod, by basically adding only the ability to make categories and a descriptions under the price radio button.

The OSCommerce mod seems a little overkill for some little things, where something like this would be ideal.

Ok, I dug through all of the mods on the server and found that I'd uploaded soapbox2 several days ago, - it was a hacked mod and not in mod structure.

When I looked at it the other day, I guess that I was just looking for mod sub folders and making sure that I didn't upload the mod root, just the modules/my mod folder.

Once I took that off of the server, the other mods showed up!

- You were right all along!

Thank so much Superman, you've saved the day for me!! ; )

I uploaded and overwrote the modules/system folder and updated the ststem mod through the admin but they still don't show.

- I've pretty much got everything that I need working great, so I don't think that this is going to inhibit me too much for now but still, - kinda wierd..

I very much appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks!

I ftp'd the folders to the server. - verified the folder contents as well as the upload.

I've probably got a half donzen uploaded that arn't showing.

All the previous mods are still fine.

I'll try re-uploading the system folder and see if that does the trick! (I can just overwrite this folder right?)

Thanks for the replies!

Humm, when I upload a new mod to the module folder, they don't show up to be installed.

- Worked fine untill a day or 2 ago, so hummm... ??

I double checked the folder on the server and everything is as it should be but the new mods just don't show up to be installed...

Anyone else ever have this problem?

Thanks for any replies!
