Hello,

When I start a search action with xoops, I get the results ordered by module. But with a lot of search actions on my site I only get results in 1 or 2 modules. All the other modules say "no result matched your query". In fact nothing wrong with this.

But I think it's easier to understand for users that they dont see that modules which say 'no results matched your query' in their search results. i.e. if there's only a result in the news module u only get THAT module as search result and the others will be totally hidden.

Is this possible to create? Maybe a hack or something?

Hello,

I'm customizing the registerform of my XOOPS site. Now I want the option 'allow others to view e-mail' in the registerform made YES (checked) bij default.

Anyone knows how to do this?

Hello,

I want to make a HTML block with the text 'Welcome $username'. Where $username must be the nickname of the user offcourse.

Is this possible and if so, what code/variable do I have to use to show the nickname.

At all modules which are using mail this error happens. e.g. when users registering theirselfs or when I send users e-mail through the admin panel.

When I choose SMTP as default Mail delivery method I get an error when sending mail:

SMTP Error: Data not accepted

But it seems to work perfectly, because i get the mail in my mailbox within a few seconds :)

Someone knows how to solve that error message?

I have one problem with firefox... the guestbook module shows at the top of the page. Internet Explorer doesnt show this.

Anyone knows how to remove this? I've read it has something to do with UTF8 format ?

Hello,

I'm using the module Myguestbook. For some unknown reasons 3 characters () appear on the very top of the screen (above the header). It's only when I open the myguestbook-module pages (other modules dont have it).

I've read some topics in this forum and I think it's because of another fileformat is used (UTF8??) for this module. But how can i fix this? Because when I open the files in notepad, wordpad or dreamweaver I dont see the strange characters on top.
I even dont know exactly which file causes this strange signs. I guess index.php or header.php, but i'm not sure.

who can help me?
