Hallo,

I know that labels are just a part of the packaging and aren't always as important as the contents but regarding one of the issues in this thread I'd just like to say:

Catz wrote:Quote:
The reason I have a PROBLEM with the way that the word 'Donation' is used is due to the misuse of the wording in this case
IMHO Brash's AMS Scheme has always sounded more like a
sponsorship / priveledged users scheme than either a sales or a donation scheme.
Although I havn't followed the threads about AMS's development too closely, I've not understood why you, Brash, chose to use "donation" instead of "sponsorship". I think this might have reduced the controversy a bit.

Regards,

Alan

Great!
At the expense of repeating myself, I'm looking forward to that.

How about update scripts?

Wonderful!

Do you intend to make update scripts available? This means that I could recommend using eXtcal now, in anticipation of being able to update when your new version comes out.
When do you anticipate having a beta available? Yes, I know that's always the difficult question, but are you thinking of weeks or months?

Very exciting!

Hi,

sounds good!

Does this also mean that you will be adding the management of repeating events as well - as described here?
The ability to manage repeating events is not available in any of the XOOPS calender modules and in my opinion a big disadvantage - I find it difficult to tell a paying client that he has to add regular meetings singly or at best in short series, when he has had this feature in Outlook for I don't know how many years.
What I mean by managing repeating events is that one adds a series of events - for example, meetings every Monday at 9:00 - and then manually deletes the events which will not take place - because of, for example, public or school holidays.

Hopefully

So, I've solved it myself - I reset the parameter to "true" in the data base tables and now I can get back in.

What I don't understand is why changing "Use custom session" had such an effect - Another site of mine has this parameter set to "no" and works fine.

Can anyone explain what is happening here?

Hi,

I've managed to lock myself out from a site I adminster - that is after signing on I get the "Thankyou for signing on" message but when the next page comes I'm no longer accepted.

We're using XOOPS 2.0.3 - my boss didn't see any reason to update - and because of a newly discovered "Warning: Trying to destroy uninitialized session in.../include/common.php on line 140", I changed the "Use custom session" setting to "no".

Can I get back in...

Thanks in advance,

Alan

Hallo,

the nagl.ch site seems to be only about trikes now - maybe you might find one of the links in here to be of use.
Hope this helps.
