Thats okay! I found all your answer written in a hurry without going into much detail. The reason is that, you have 997 with you and my questions is nothing in compare to your experience. There is no point loading XOOPS mySQL database for help which waste both of our time.

Anyway, Thanks CBlue for your time

You could have just added images in your style.css in the place of text. In the block title of each column, you could just define an image as the background. You could then have the title written over the image in your block admin or leave the title out of the block in your block admin.

I am not talking about putting background images or Background color in Block title. That can be done using Style sheet.

I wanted to show Block Title Text say "XOOPS forum" as Images with XOOPS text in RED color and "forums" in grey small caps. So how come you show all the block title Images using stylesheet ?

Hello All:

I am trying to replace XOOPS standard Textual Block Title with Images. So, all the blocks displayed in the website will show Block Title as a GIF images. This is only to give some colors to the title.

What I am doing now is, System Admin -> Block -> remove text from "Block Title" (keeping it blank). Then I removed Style Sheet and TD for Block Title from Theme.html. So, no block title will be displayed, except Block Content in website.

Now, I Put The <img src="block image path"> just at top of System Admin -> Block -> "Block Content" Text Area.

So, you see, my Block content is actually keeping the Block Title Image.

Is this method is correct, any problem if this method is applied Is there any other way out ?

Please help ?

Mithy t2

yah! there is a mistake in file name (news.html). Thank you for pointing me out on that.

I can use my logic in my way. I can use "if else" condition or I can create differnt html pages for each modules. Actualy I protest against Draven's logic not more than that.

Now tell me one thing those [who] are not aware about XOOPS code structure or doesn't know how to write "if else" condition in smarty template for themselves, what they will do, any suggestion?

Dear Draven:

Thanks for the alternative information (i think the best) but I just given you my thought only after testing it in my machine. I will again check, retry and let you know.

I saw you and sunscrapper did a excellent work on friendly URLs , why dont combine both. Make a "htaccess" file without .(dot ) at begining and create a standard rules for every imp modules with proper comments and keep it in XOOPS 2.5.1 root folder with a readme.txt ammeneded to point that users need to rename htaccess to .htaccess in their remote web server root folder.

Thank for your time Draven.
