I have also put this tread in xuups.com hopefully Trabis will answer if he is not busy.

my host has not change anything as I use Publisher in other websites and they work fine.

I am also using Publisher, worked fine for some time but now if I want to edit any previous article and then submit the 'edit article' returns a blank white screen of death and of course the article is not updated. At the moment I can create new articles.

I am very worried because I think its a database issue here and I am terrified that I might face more problems as the site gets bigger.

It was working for a couple of months.......xoops 2.4.4 and php5

any idea whats best to do? I did uninstall the module and installed it again but with the same error that once an article is updated it comes the blank screen.

Hi culex

even I haven't experienced any like this and i have been using xoops for some years now.

As said earlier when I reduce the amount of blocks on the home page the blank page disappears as if xoops is limited on how many blocks you couold have.

but saying this it could also be a particular module. The funny thing is that why I am away from login in the site for a few hours and then I login and do the updates it works fine, no blank page when I go back to the home page.

I have cleared sessions from myadminPHP
I am not using Protector either although with Protector it also gave the problem.

Finally if this makes sense I am using Defacer to switch from one theme to the other.

This is so weird finally do you suggest I go back say to xoops 2.3.3 bearing in mind that the modules could work better under this version?

I cannot figure this out.
Again after some hours and around 120 queries in the sessions database still gives me a blank white page when I am logged in.

I have deleted a block (latest news of one of Publisher) and it was working fine again, no problems but then I need this block to be on the home page.

Any clues please?

I tried that but remember that once a blank page comes up there is no source code to show.

Anyway I think its a sessions problem, because I went into my phpadmin and cleared the sessions table. IT is working now until the sessions table builds up again.

Is this a problem with xoops 2.4.4 because earlier verisons never gave me this problem.

Is there some readings on sessions and how they work?

When I am logged in as the webmaster the home page that normally comes on results to a blank white page.

I have to do this www.mydomain.com/admin.php to go into my Administration Panel. I can work okay here with no problems until from the Control Panel I click to go to Home page. Here again it gives me a blank white Page.

On the home page I have as block modules:
Publisher > In the Spotlight
My Tabs > My Tabs Block with around 5 tabs
Custom Blocks > 5 with just banners linking to the articles

I am using xoops v2.4.4 PHP5 etc

Is this has to do with the Users Sessions in the database?

yes this is also happening to me
I have on my home page around
7 blocks on latest news (publisher)
1 latest photos (xcgall)

for the latest news blocks I have used the Tabs module

as said by jonathan2478 which ever I add it does gives me a blank home page and so I have to limit the many block I have on the homepage and also

a blank page is a blank page no coding shows up so using debug is useless

I am using xoops 2.4.4 and php 5

Earlier versions of xoops didn't gave me this problem, which is very very strange

Hi kris_f

I am not sure where to put this piece of code.

is it in the scoller.php file anywhere the '<?php' and '?>'
or at the theme.html where I have put the iframe
'<iframe src="http://www................... = "960px"></iframe>'

Thanks for your help. I am not a php fan but I am learning from the xoops community a lot.

iFrame to show only on home page

I have put an iFrame code in my theme file to show on the home page. The iFrame is picking a scroller.php file which I created beforehand. Now I want this iFrame to show only in the home page and not in the other pages.

I have tried a custom block and put the scroller.php code in it and save the custom block as a php but is not coming up

Any ideas please how to make this work?
