That solve one part of the problem,

But what happen with the results page?

In the results page , in the foot XOOPS show the search form allowing to the user to make a new search in ALL the modules,

How do I modify that to show only one module as option to the new search? (the same module where i made the search before)

Hi rob,

I have the solution, is not a catads bug , its about a configuration setting.

Check "Max time before publication" in the catads module preferences and put "0"

That´s work for me,

I have the same error in 2.0.13 them is not a XOOPS 2.2 problem,

As far i know is a approval problem, if you check the admin panel you will see all the Ads waiting for approval.
No matter if you have "moderate ad" on or off, always happen the same thing.

Its a CatAds problem, i not find a solution yet,
Would be great if Cat see this topic.

That´s the point and the bug,
Maybe i not use the right words to explain above dued to my bad english.

No matter if you deselect the blocks in admin group, you always still see all the blocks as admin user.

i mean i have blocks 2 and 5 deselected for admin group, but you still see blocks 2 and 5 anyways.

Basically my question is in the topic title.

I trying to set some visible blocks for registered users group, suppose blocks number 1,2& 5
and some for a custom user group, suppose blocks 1,3& 4

My settings are:

Block administration

Blocks 1,2,3,4 & 5 are visible.

Groups permissions

Registered users have permission for view 1,2,5

Custom users have permission for view 1,3,4

Admin group have permission to view 1,3,4

-----------------------------------------------

THE PROBLEM IS Admin view all the blocks! 1,2,3,4,5
But i have OFF 2 and 5!

Why the admin always see all the visible blocks ignoring the groups permissions??

Exist a way to avoid that?

Excuse me if i understand wrong, but exist a XOOPS module & block,

It show the users online and his country flag at side, see yourself inhttp://www.xoopsmalaysia.org (see in the left menu bar)

Download inhttp://www.xoopsmalaysia.org/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=2&lid=65

I think maybe you can take a look to these module code too, excuse my bad english, is not my natural language.

Works fine for me,


sometimes the adsense can´t find relevant info in your site and show nothing,

Well but you can say me, adsense show the public ads instead, but sometimes not show public ones too.

Finally my problem was with both, email and pm notifications,

I tried ALL but ALL the possible ways to solve that, so not waste your time trying, seriously.
Finally yesterday i made backup and reinstall all the site from 0, that solve the problem.

Im sorry gyus, but its the only way to solve this, the problem is dued to a bad XOOPS instalation.

Update the templates and other solutions only work when the problem is the notifications options not keep checked,

But if the problem is not receive notifications, even with the notifications options checked, the only way to solve that is reinstall xoops.
