lol, that certainly was a little embarrassing. thanks for the css fix, but sadly, that didn't help with the missing background.

i can tell you this though: when i type any random text, it closes the gap by that much. odd. i used to run into this back in my early early days of web development, but with the advancement of css and seamless tables, i didn't have that struggle anymore.

i've thrown up a quick sampler so you can all see what i'm seeing live.

cell background missing?

for some odd reason (i've tried css, double-checking my html, etc.), there's a blank area where my content will eventually go. it's a bit irking actually, as this is my only set back at this point. here's a screenie:

Screenie

for my css code, i have this:
.time {

color#000000;

font-familyTahoma,Verdana,Sans-serif;

font-size10px;

font-weightnormal;

font-decorationnone;
}
.
dtable {

width760px;

height100%;
}
.
contenttable {

background-image"images/dt_18.gif";

height100%;
}

i figured by specifying that i want the content table to carry the background file not only in the css but also in the html, i can't lose. but it doesn't work.

lastly, here's my theme.html... warning: it's a bit long.
<TABLE WIDTH=760 height="100%" BORDER=0 align="center" CELLPADDING=0 CELLSPACING=class="dtable">

now if only there was a way i could make the logins for both the forums (i merely used the phpbb2newbb script to get my userbase integrated into XOOPS and have already disabled the newbb forums) and the XOOPS integrate so that if a user logs in from my phpbb forums, it'll also act as a login for my XOOPS website...

i think that's the magic question...

greetings. i've been searching throughout the forums for an answer to this. perhaps i'm not searching the right places.

anyways, i went ahead and ran the sql dump file through my sql myadmin and there was a note in the file that said i had to change something in the xoops_groups_users_link table to switch my admin from 2 to 1.

i made what i thought was the correct change, but i still can't login to my admin section on my site.

please help!

thanks in advance
