I installed wf-Channel 2.00rc and wf-Resource, and, afterward, I couldn't access my profile in Smart Profile 1.0. I get a blank page with the following message:

Quote:

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

Error: Class wfc_PageHandler does not exist
Handler Name: page

After I uninstalled wf-Channel, I could access it again.

Take a look at Classifieds at JLMZone:

http://www.jlmzone.com

If I'm not mistaken, you could do it this way:

1. In module preferences, set # pictures allowed per ad to 0 for non-premium and (whatever) for premium users

2. In module permissions, make the Registered Users group premium users for all categories

Try InfoRapid Search and Replace. It is freeware, and you can find it here:

http://www.inforapid.de/html/searchreplace.htm

Here is a quote from an earlier PCWorld review:

"Once I tried this gem, I never used Windows’ Find feature again. Like Find, InfoRapid lets me search for text in nearly any file. But InfoRapid’s search combinations are vast, including Boolean operators (AND, NOT, OR and NEAR) and phonetic searches. I can actually view the files with built-in viewers for text, HTML, RTF and common image file formats such as BMP and JPEG. Search results are highlighted, and a double-click on any other word starts a new search."

You can search any directory by right clicking on it and choosing "Search with InfoRapid". You can choose what file types to search, and so on. Then you can replace the term in all files at once. Great program.

[Edit]
The program is free for non-commercial use.

Also, if you are considering a wiki, try Wiwimod. I think it's the easiest XOOPS version to implement.

Take a look at efqDirectory which offers user-defined fields. Development on the next version was supposed to have begun in December, but I can't say where that stands.

Also, FYI, the developer, wtravel, has recently joined the ImpressCMS development team, and I don't know what his intentions are regarding Xoops. As of now, anyway, the two CMS's are compatible, so there will be no problem in the near future. Any module for one will work on the other.

@joninzar
Thanks. Your answer was on target.

@script_fu
This is interesting. I think I can figure out the class part, ( I guess .textwrap img {...} )but how do you invoke it so as to apply it where you want and not where you don't want?

This really should be in the FAQ or somewhere easily accessed.

This is regarding how to embed an image, have text wrap around the image, and have space between the image and the text? I did a search and saw several threads on this subject but no real answer. The answers I saw seemed to fix it in one place but break something else.

What I got from reading all of this is that, if you put it in the theme style.css, then it either applies to things you do not want it to - like smilies - or it doesn't apply to all that you do want it to. So, and correct me if I am wrong, I am left with the conclusion that padding (or border or margin) should be applied to each image when embedded and not globally. So, let me ask it this way:

If, say, I want to embed an image in a SmartSection (or News) article, or in block content, have the text wrap around the image, have the image aligned to the left, and have 10px spacing between the right side of the image and the text, how would this be done? Would you use the [img] tag or html tag, and how would it be formatted?

Looks to me that extGallery does NOT work with XOOPS 2.2.x. See this XOOPS News announcement:

http://tinyurl.com/2nrwnz

Perhaps someone can say for sure, but it appears that 2.2.x users are out of luck here as well.

I loved 2.2.x, but I finally moved to 2.0.x for 2 reasons: 1. Many things do not work with it, and 2. It was going to be much longer for 2.2.x users to be "brought back into the family", so to speak. I think this last has changed, but the compatibility issue is still a biggie.

I have to say, though, that I really like the new block positions and some other things of the 2.0.x branch, but I'd trade all that (plus the gal down the road) for the drop dead easy block cloning in 2.2.x.
