I really love the newbbex (forumex) module of Hervé. It's small in comparison with newbb, with fewer features etc. But it really loads fast and is easy to tweak, template wise.

I love small images, so I have tried yet again to add something special to Xoops. I just hope you agree.
The sets are build with icons from a developer called Mark James.

I believe PDdownloads doesn't have an upload function at all, but the downloads are staticly linked. you'll have to upload your files via a ftp program, and then link it in PDdownloads.
