I've never seen a bonzai chestnut... will it have little bitty chestnuts?

I'm already addicted to xoops.

Providers system was having some stability issues that I had to debug for them. They don't seem to believe me until I send them the code to show them. Permissions were corrupting every 40 minutes or so, messing up the install repeatedly. What are the odds.....

I really appreciate you taking the time to help.
I'll send you a URL when I have something worth looking at.

Use MySQL front, phpMyAdmin, whatever to open your mySQL dB. Try going into the xoops_config Table to the _MD_AM_DTHEME field and replacing the value with:
default
that is just the word, no '"{( no anything just the word default. Then try hitting your index page.

or see if you can acess:
yourURL/user.php

login then go to:

yourURL/modules/system/admin.php

and change the theme..

clearing contents of templates_c did it.

If you have installed more than once and get a blank page (run into trouble in the first install), make sure you clean all of the files out of templates_c.

If you are getting a blank page and have tried to install more than once, make sure you remove all files in templates_c.
