My prefered xoopseditor is koivi but its not working that well... Spent some time on it and here is what i got...

Hope this can help others with same problems...

At first installation all seems right but...

1. when trying to insert table, popup window appears with errors...

in /class/xoopseditor/koivi/koivieditor/preferences.php
line 32

XOOPS_ROOT_PATH never found
if not defined it cannot be included...

if (!defined("XOOPS_ROOT_PATH")) {      
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH . "/class/xoopseditor/xoopseditor.inc.php";     
if (!defined("XOOPS_UPLOAD_PATH")) {          die("Path error!");      }  }

Changed to 

if (!defined("XOOPS_ROOT_PATH")) {      
include "../../../../class/xoopseditor/xoopseditor.inc.php";  
if (!defined("XOOPS_UPLOAD_PATH")) {          die("Path error!");      }  }


2. Testing insert table after change opens popup with no language recognized...

one has to copy language dir from /class/xoopseditor/koivi/languages
to /class/xoopseditor/koivi/koivieditor/language problem solved...

if moved to directory the main editor will loose language settings...

3. Now everything works locally but when on hosting provider with

define( 'XOOPS_ROOT_PATH', '/' ); in mainfile.php

In /class/xoopseditor/koivi/dialogs.php there are lines of code that do not recognize the "/" after XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.

I used an editor and changed all lines like:

include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.''.$url.'/language/'.$xoopsConfig['language'].'.php';

changing them to 

include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/'.$url.'/language/'.$xoopsConfig['language'].'.php';


These changes work for me hope for others who like koivi too....

Great mod...

Got it to work... Moved old images in the new folders created by imagemanager and now all works fine...

Followed instructions in txt file to the letter. imagemanager displays well, new 'User Images' appear, but all old categories in 'site images' are empty...

Can anyone help?

Install 2.0.17.1: Failed inserting 60 entries to table xoops_config

XOOPS Version: 2.0.17.1
PHP Version: 5.0.4
MySQL Version: 4.1.12
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache
Operating System: Linux
Hosting: register.it


Tried to install XOOPS on hosting service several times now but I get

31 entries inserted to table xoops_config.
Failed inserting 60 entries to table xoops_config.

all other entries are ok...

got different number of missed entries at each attempt to install (60, 61, 73)...

I have XOOPS running locally no problems installing...

anybody have idea of what is going on... Need help please!!!

Hi to all....
I read over all possible forums and documentation and I tried all possible solutions but always get a blank page and no error messages appear.

Also looked and tried similar to tzvook but same problem...

I am running XOOPS 2.2.4,
apache 2.0.55,
php 4.3.4,
windows xp or linux fedora core 3
content module 0.5
formwysiwygtextarea.php,v 1.1.2.6 2005/08/14 22:08:10


This is what I tried last.

Start line 248 in index.php content file...

if ($xoopsModuleConfig['cont_wysiwyg'] == '1') {
include_once(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/class/xoopseditor/koivi/formwysiwygtextarea.php');
$form->addElement(new XoopsFormWysiwygTextArea(_C_CONTENT, 'message', $message, '100%', '300px',''), true);
} else {
$t_area = new XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea(_C_CONTENT, 'message', '', 37, 35);
$form->addElement($t_area);
}

Hope someone can help, thanks in advance...

Hi,
I crated a theme file and added a table to it with a few columns. When table is empty and no data is displayed except for title, all works fine. When table is filled all the left blocks are forced to move to the bottom of the page... Please help...
