i have installed myalbum-p but i am having a little trouble configuring it (im not even sure if it can do what i want)
i want users to be able to upload photos to a folder named after their username (eg "user5's gallery" BUT not anywhere else), i would also like to be able to limit the amount of data that each user can upload based on their user group
can it be done? or is there a similar module that can do this?
thanks.

OK, it says in the installation guide that you have to install it in the root directory. Is this really true? Or can I install it to a subdirectory to try it our first?

Hi, I have just heard about XOOPS and am wondering whether it is worth installing on my site. I want to make a site where users can register and have a login for the entire site (except forums) then upload their own photo galleries/blogs which can be controlled by admins (eg users can only upload a certain amount of data per file etc) and maybe add other features later which the original logins will still work for?

thx
