What would be the most appropriate and acceptable format to ask for help?

1. First, search for your question and for the possible answers.

2. Perform searches on Xoops, Google, or code developers website.

3. Helpful Search Terms:
module name (eg. mylinks), function name (eg. add category), problem name (eg. blank page), or bits of code (eg. $modversion['tables'),..

4. Double check the XOOPS FAQ for your question or the possible answers.

Important for others to identify your post.
5. Proceed to forums,
Title: module/function name, problem summary, conclusion (eg. bug report, bugfix, please help, fixed,..)

Here is a new version of xDirectory called XOOPS Directory 'xyp4all'

I'm not sure what the special features are but the introduction is interesting. Lemme know.

I will gather most of my bug fixes and hacks of wfdownloads and post them at your site. Sorry about that.

Things like this menu are not for everybody. It is more of an option. It should not go in the next release. Although I have some that should.

I think new code and ways of doing things can still open new doors. Yes it moves things around, but that is the point, to customize a module used on many websites.

For those of us who customize our modules, this is a different layout of the alphabet navigation menu for wfdownloads. It is more of a square and fits nicely in a narrow column.

The changes must be made to this code from "/modules/wfdownloads/include/functions.php"

I viewed the source of the page, copied the html to the template, and arranged it the way I want.

It Looks Great!

Anybody have an idea? I have done many bug fixes and designed new templates for this module. I need this nav menu to display as described above for the new templates.

Please Help!
