Eeh, I'm getting pretty desperate now. No new members on the site now since before christmas (because nobody can register) and the traffic is also on a serious down slope.
At this stage I'm seriously considering reverting to an older version of XOOPS that works properly.
Kinda disappointed because this is the kind of error that I wouldn't have thought would've gotten past a beta version...
Is everyone here that's experiencing this problem on shared servers? Just wondering if settings on shared servers could have something to do with it???

Yup, I'm having the same problem too. I upgraded from 2.2.3Final with the 2.2.4 patch hoping that it would fix it but still no joy.
I'd noticed it occasionally in the messages section when deleting them and just put it down to occasional erratic server behaviour or something like that but I've since been e-mailed saying that when anyone tries to register they get the same error "No valid security token found in session".
Tried to register a test account myself and got it again. Seems the error is in a couple of different places and I've no idea where to start fixing it so I'm hoping someone finds a solution soon PLEASE...

Hey that's great thanks - what a cool resource.
Turns out I AM using 2.2.3Final after all. It still says 2.13 in the module admin area though???
Anyway, it doesn't matter now. I'm off to apply the patch.

I was convinced that I'd already upgraded to 2.2.3 and was about to apply the 2.2.4 patch when I noticed that my system module displays the version 2.13.
I downloaded the upgrade files and upgraded te modules 'successfully' according to the messages but it still displays version 2.13 in modules admin section. Have I missed something here?
I want to get right upto date ASAP because people are having difficulties on some areas of the site including registration where they're getting the 'no valid ticket' error message.
Thanks in advance.

Can anyone tell me how I can edit the welcome message that includes the activation link when new users registers on my site?
Do I have to do it in my database or can I edit it through XOOPS? If it's in the database, what table do I go for???
Thanx in advance..

Yeah, I made a copy (blank1.gif) so I could just restore it back by just renaming it but so far their doesn't seem to be any need for it.
I won't be deleting it either in case I ever install any new modules or updates that require it.
Thanks lads :)

I want to upgrade from version 2.11 to 2.2.3 but I'm not sure which packages I should use. There are a few versions in between so I think I need to do a few upgrades to get up to date but I aint sure.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
