Thanks Asongo
thats a great help.

It is hard to understand the list at source forge, that you posted a link to.

Does it mean you need to download file to find list inside the zip file?

thanks Again

thanks sergio for your input.

I have found another thread which started to say which modules work but then digreses into a whole lot of what does not work.

Could someone of authority to post a sticky start a thread "modules compatible with 2.2.2 tested"

Anyone who has a module that is tested and works can post the info there. Sort of working or RC or development beta.... does not count. We need a list of working modules.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Guys
Is there a list of modules that are compatible with XOOPS 2.2.2?

I am about to build a new site and wonder whether to go with 2.9.13.1 or move on up to 2.2.2. I want the path of least resistance and need to be able to have the following features.

forum, news, articles, photo gallery, calendar, FAQ, polls, links and Partners.

Are there enough compatible modules to do this on 2.2.2?

Cheers

i had this and i came down to selecting the right option for creating thumbnails, depends on your server setup, i just set minew on to GD thumbnails(i think) and it came good.

theres 2 or three options in the admin side...image magic etc one of them will do it for you, the default does not do the job properly.

cheers
good luck

i'm having problems with the text wrapping in xcgalley when you look at the intermediate pic.

It appears to be the information that is put in by user to describe the pic that causes the problem.

The titles also do this if they are too long.

It's fine in ie6 but blows the width right out in firefox, does anyone no what i should be looking for.

Thanks Dave for you quick reply.

How come other huge sites don't have this problem?.amazon, BBC,etc.

i appreciate the security, but it is so unprofessional tripping people up when they are trying to join your community.

This is a serious marketing issue here.

Am i right assuming this will change as we move to XOOPS2.2?

thanks again

Hi all,
just looking for some advice hope this is the right place to post.

I have upgraded from 2.0.9.3 to 2.0.10
and of course the http referer that i have disabled with this hack (cause no one can login to site otherwise)is back to the default XOOPS setting.

in includes/functions.php
function xoops_refcheck($docheck=1)
{
   return
true;#*#DISABLE_REFERER_CHECK#

$ref xoops_getenv('HTTP_REFERER');
   if (
$docheck == 0) {
      return
true;
   }
   if (
$ref == '') {
      return
false;
   }
   if (
strpos($refXOOPS_URL) !== ) {
      return
false;
   }

Is this still nesscesary or has the 2.0.10 got a new way to deal with this?
any helpful advice appreciated.
cheers
