I have tried that but extgallery will not work on 2.3.1. Photos wont batch upload, 2.3.1 has (KO) against it on the index page

xcgal 2.03 gets this erro when trying to go to the batch upload page

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare scandir() in /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/modules/xcgal/admin/searchnew.php on line 314

my host has whm>tweaks set so that "nobody" cannot run mail out of the server. This they say is to stop SPAM. Is it time to go to another host? There seems to be no way round this as under any other mail settings it sends no mail at all. At least under the phpmailer it sends the mails as unsent back to the admin mail so I know someone has registered.

I am a bit stuck as there seems to be no way of coding round "nobody"

I have tried every other setting and the server will not send my mail, my other sites are on the same server and have no problem

well i edited the script and my test seemed to work, but the reality is users trying to log in or reclaim their passoword send mails that ned up being from "nobody"

Received: from nobody by wh4.work-space.net with local (Exim 4.69)
(envelope-from <xxxxxx@xxxxxxx.com>)
id 1KnCp7-0005Hp-Ls

so even though it has a return path and a sender envelope it still says received from nobody, can anyone explain why this is?

Thank you I edited the script at this point and added my email address, still dont know why it was not put in by the system prefs. But it works

in fact to get round this I need to edit the mail script so it doesn't show nobody, can anyone tell me how to do this.

this is a continuing problem for me and seems to have resulted in an addition to the admin>mailsetup form after adding smart profile module (since removed). I looked at a couple of my other sites and they do not have the same page. There is a small addition underneath the selection of the mail sender. How do i get rid of this?

and with other sites you change this and if you also have other session problems and clear sessions or repair session table then no one can log in
