Thanks vanchan I got that working.

But I still have permission issues. I've set for each forum the following:
Resized Image

and

Resized Image


When logged in as Webmaster to the forum I get the error I mentioned in the first post and when I login as a guest I get

You don't have the right to access this forum.


Is there something that I'm not setting?

I'm using RC2 that was downloaded from xoops.

I noticed that when doing an Advance Search in NEWBB2 RC2 it also displayes the Private Forums as part of the search selection. In the config I've set this to WebMaster only. How can this be removed.

When changing the posts viewed from "From Last 100 Days" to anything else, I get the following error:

I also have the same problem with two IP assigned to one person especially when I just login. It would show my name and anonymous to the same IP.

This is caused I believe by the spiders that are spidering your site. Do a trace route (tracert if on windows)and they should end up at the same source.

wordbook and cache

I have over 177000 entries in the Wordbook module and I turned Cache on to 3 Days so as to have the pages load faster. This doesn’t happen. Every time I access the index page of Wordbook it takes a long time to load. I’m not too sure how the cache works but is it supposed to store the information that was accessed in templace_c directory, then when someone calls the same page it just loads that instead of querying the database?

Sorry to butt in...but will the latest version have an upgrade script for the Ver 1.0.1?

In the file /modules/wfsection/class/mimetype.php I found "pdf" => "application/pdf",. Dose that mean it is declared?

How can I use this module to view pdf files?

I've searched the posts and found this, but does wfsection allow viewing of pdf files?
