As webdesigner I want to re-contribute again for the XOOPS community. As experienced XOOPS theme developer (commercially and under the gpl license) I sure hope I can make a difference. My current goal is to make XOOPS module templates css driven, so they are ready for the near future. Although I re-design these templates for my clients strictly, I sure want to share my experience with the XOOPS Community.

Okay, now I have a reason to buy one without my girlfriend bugging me about the costs of a nice i-Mac;)

But seriously and on topic, I agree with JAVesey. Maybe an integration of the Protector module into the XOOPS core would be a more secure base.

Well I use the protector module (although not the latest version) and it seems that it passes the protection. Another weird thing is that my stats program (non Xoops) doesn't detect any hits of the bots (I have checked the registered user ip address and searched it in my stats program, but couldn't find any entry)

Second, all of fake users run on different ip adresses (according to xoops)

Well,.I dunno about Ventrilo, but I have used a piece of a TS monitoring script and put it into an iframed XOOPS block.
I have searched for a XOOPS TS module,.the one that are present are a bit crappy, but this solution works perfect.
