I could be wrong, but I think that wfsection would allow for that.

Contact Module idea

I was thinking that for the contact module it could be more useful if instead of the email from the form always going to the email address of the admin.

There are so many different scenarios where somebody would rather have an email go somewhere else if the contact form was designed for communication, say, for something being sold, or something being described, when the actual admin only does support related to the actual website.

If there was some admin features to the contact module, I think they could include various email address with alias' to add, thereby allowing somebody on the form to select different people to address an email to.

Does that make any sence?

In the mean time, can the settoEmails or whatever that handle is, be set from ($xoopsconfig['adminemail']) to a static email address such as user@domain?

Thanks,

Chris

I was reading on PostCalendar's website an article / newsletter that mentioned XOOPS dev had expressed interested to develope this calendar module beyond PostNuke's CMS.

That was posted almost a year ago (Nov 29, 2002). Is there any "new" news?

Great hack! Yes, however - has XOOPS develepment ever considered making XOOPS more multilingual friendly? The average person would hardly want to go in and hack around on core files, not to mention that it doesn't take care of everything (i.e. blocks, modules...)

Wouldn't it be more useful for blocks, news, etc., to have an option field to select which installed language to show the block, news article, etc.? Example: I only want "Article 'A'" to show *only* in English, "Article 'B'" *only* in Spanish, "Article 'C'" in all languages.

Forgive me for mentioning it, but this is something other CMS programs offer. XOOPS being, my impression, is far beyond most other CMS's - except in this one little point.

Anyway, at least it's something to consider. Hacking is great ;) but if so many people are looking how to hack the same thing for the same purpose, maybe a plausible solution ought to be thought out.

I had posted this in Feature Request forum, but after thought realized it probably should be here.
In any case, I have started on a hack of the myDownloads module as it's features are pretty consistant to what I am looking for. I was wondering though where the table structure is for the main page?!? How can I change the overall layout?

Chris

Library / Resource Catalog
I been looking for a module similar to pnBooks for XOOPS 2.0 with absolutely no luck at all.
There have been some requests similar however the only answers I have seen lean toward online shopping modules which is what I am trying to avoid (I am not trying to sell anything)
I am working on a website that gives away free resources (audio, written, etc.) all of which are either public domain or with express permission from the author.
I think this could / would be extremely useful for non-profit based sites and / or organizations.
