The clone of wf-channel module as "wf-custompage" as you sugeste will be ready later this evening and after the proper testing I'll post here a link for it`s download and a link for testing it yourself.
About the blank page i really don't know what to say as I haven`t encontered any problems with it nor any other wf-projects module, the thing i just love about wf-channel it's that unlike other content module it alowes me to place a certain block in a certain html inserted by me wherever i chose for it to be.

Bottom line: XOOPS relays on this...XOOPS it's the best tool and you know it and people that are using it know it and they will be using it no matter the quality/ quantity of the support they recive from the XOOPS core development team, maybe XOOPS will learn (if it has the time) that as a comunication tool that it supposed to be , XOOPS forgot to practice what it preeches
