I was wondering how I can change the way the default news module displays titles. Right now it seems to like making everything capitalized and the first letter of every word slightly larger.

Is there anyway I can change that behavior?
Also, is there anyway to get rid of the "bytes more" at the end of a teaser? perhaps changed it into a word count?

Or alternatively, is there a way to transfer a mySQL database into a fresh installation of XOOPS so we can keep users, news posts, ect, and if so, what would be the best to way to go about this?

Hopefully someone here can help me out. I've looked in the documentation for XOOPS on your FAQ and other pages, and attempted to follow it two times but the upgrade failed both times. There are a few things these guides do not cover and it's giving me alot of trouble.

Can anyone give me a definitive guide on upgrading xoops? As far as I know there is no patch to upgrade from 2.0.9.2/3 to XOOPS 2.0.13, only a full install. Can anyone shine some light on how to do this?

That sounds perfect, just, I'm not sure how I would go about doing it. Could you give me some detailed instructions or point me to a guide?

I attempted to upgrade an outdated installation of xoops, long story short, I messed up somewhere along the line, and I am left unable to restore the site to it's previous state. Is there anyway I can restore this data. I have a copy of the MySQL database after the failed upgrade.

My question is, is there anyway to recover users and news, forum posts, at all?

My site has been using XOOPS for 4 years and I would hate to loose all my data.

Please tell me if you need any more information to answer my question and I will be happy to provide.
