I am using eXtCal 2.22 and want to be able to upload Office 2007 files such as docx, xlsx etc.

There is no option to control this as in some other modules.

What file needs to be edited to add other file types to the drop down menu in the preferences?

Does Anyone Know of a Good Digital Yearbook Software?

I'm searching for a digital yearbook software. Preferably a free software of course.

There are lots of companies out there doing the conversion from .pdf to flashbooks as they are called by some.

The idea is that it can be packaged on a CD or downloaded for a fee by the club members. It will need to include articles, images and videos.

Essentially a website on a CD, but with those fancy turning pages flash pages.

This has reared its head for me again with requests from some users to have notifications sent to more than one e-mail address. One person wants them sent to 4 actually.

A start for me would be to know what files to modify, and then I might be able to muddle through it.

In the alternative, if anyone wants to pm me with a price to make this happen, that is good too. Assuming of course that it isn't a feature of the latest release.

Currently using version 2.3.3.

Thanks.

I've put this into the file:

upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 20M

If there are any risks associated with such changes, I would appreciate hearing about them. Transfer volume aside as it will not be a problem for the site in question.

Where do I increase the maximum filesize for uploads? Is this a XOOPS setting or something controlled on the host side?

In the Control Panel it indicates 2M which I would like to increase to 6M.

The host says all is good now, but I am a bit skeptical. One painful lesson on backups.

Check and repair in phpMyAdmin didn't help. Xoopscare module didn't help.

In the end I deleted everything and started from scratch on the site. Had I done that right away, it would have saved time overall.

Thanks for the suggestions.

What version etc are you using?

I recall something about this as well, I think when the version was 2.3.2. There was a security concern that lead to the 2.3.2b release but that was sorted out.

I can't duplicate the behaviour you are describing.

Make sure your anonymous users don't have module admin rights, just module access rights.

This problem is continuing for me. I have the same version of WF-downloads running on two different sites.

To troubleshoot, I copied the files from the site that is working just fine over to the other site and updated the module.

I am still getting an error when trying to access wfdownloads/admin/permissions.php

Site #1 where the files came from is fine. Site #2 where I replaced them gives a "500 ERROR".

Host claims an error in the script in admin.php.

In the admin area of WF-Downloads, all of the tabs work properly except the "Permissions" tab which returns an Internal Server Error.

I have re-uploaded the files and updated the module. Same error occurs. There have been server problems, but accessing any of the other files is not an issue.

Same module is running without issue on a XOOPS 2.3.2b site. Could it be a 2.3.3 issue?

Should I update to WF-Downloads 3.2 RC2?

Suggestions welcome.
