Hi,

Seems like I figured out what the problem is.

The clone_info.txt files included in the smartpartner module is the same as the one included in the Smartsection module.
Altough these are both great modules (thanks to another top-job of the Smartfactory guys), there seems to be a bit of confusion with the included clone_info.txt files for both of the modules.

Anyway, to make a long story short:

This are the parameters you have to rename according to the clone_info.txt of smartpartner (which do work for cloning Smartsection) to rename the module to Smartclient:

Quote:

$patterns = array(
// first one must be module directory name
'smartpartner' => 'smartclient',
'SMARTPARTNER' => 'SMARTCLIENT',
'SmartPartner' => 'SmartClient',
'Smart Partner' => 'Smart Client',
'SPARTNER' => 'SCLIENT',
'Smartpartner' => 'Smartclient'
);

And this is what you actually need to do to clone Smartpartner! ( to in this case : smarttouroperator):

Quote:

$patterns = array(
// first one must be module directory name
'smartpartner' => 'smarttouroperator',
'partner' => 'touroperator',
'SMARTPARTNER' => 'SMARTTOUROPERATOR',
'SmartPartner' => 'SmartTouroperator',
'Smart Partner' => 'Smart Touroperator',
'SPARTNER' => 'STOUROPERATOR',
'Smartpartner' => 'Smarttouroperator',
'Partner' => 'Touroperator',
'Partenaire' => 'Touroperator',
'partenaire' => 'touroperator'
);

Hope this saves other Smartpartner users a few hours of struggling!

Cheers,

Edwin

Hi! ( again )

Iv'e just cloned Smartpartner 1.4 (RC 1) for the 2nd time and I got this warning after calling the clone.php page :

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: File exists in /home/stlucadm/public_html/clone.php on line 60
Happy cloning... check directory modules/smartclient for cloned module Consider modifying new module by editing language/english/modinfo.php and images/mysection_slogo.png manually (if you care)

The cloning of the module didn't work this time as well.
The first clone went smooth and the module is functional.

These are the parameters i've used for the 2nd clone:
'SMARTPARTNER' => 'SMARTDINING',
'SmartPartner' => 'SmartDining',
'Smart Partner' => 'Smart Dining',
'SPARTNER' => 'SDINING',
'Smartpartner' => 'Smartdining',
'Partner' => 'Dining',
'Partenaire' => 'Dining',
'partenaire' => 'dining'

What could be wrong?

Cheers
Edwin

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know, that I found the (stupid) problem.

This was what you get, when 2 of the logo's have the same name without one noticing this !

Works like a train and great module !

Thanks,

Edwin

HI,

I'm trying out Smartpartner 1.4 (RC 1) and got stuck with this problem.

If I create a new partner and upload the (new) logo, that new logo suddenly shows on all the smartpartners (in that category?) instead of their corresponding own logo!

Anyone an idea what could be the problem?

Xoops version is 2.0.16

Thanks,

Edwin

Hi,

I've cloned my smartsection module to "myaccommodations" and altough everthing seems to run fine, I get this error in my admin while creating or editing articles under the item page wrap. (Never the less, I can create and edit artikles and they show normally in the website)

Quote:
ERROR: cannot access file directory. Please chmod the uploads/myaccommodation/content directory with value 755 (or 777 depending on your environement)

The thing is, I don't seem to have a /myaccommodations directory under uploads.

the only directory I've got , is this one uploads/11699374645dc1777dbdbb/ but this one is empty.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Edwin

Hi,

Im starting up a new site, www.stlucia.co.za with the blue_shine theme.
I've got a problem with the header.
I changed the original background-image with my new logo/banner, but for some reason, i can not het rid of the original logo of the theme.
I deleted the line in the style.css that included the logo.gif, I did the same with the theme.html and deleted the logo.gif from the /images folder.

I deleted the templates_c files, cleared the cache of my browser...But the logo keeps showing.

Any suggestions?

Txs,

Edwin

XOOPS is by far one of the easiest CMSs to install manually and there is documentation included with the release that explains, step by step, how to install to XOOPS.

Manually installing XOOPS is by far the best method because you can be assured that you are getting the most up to date code available, and that you are following the recommended procedures.

Hi,

I want to start a new XOOPS site.
My host has got XOOPS autoinstall with Fantasticoi available but this is still version 2.0.14.
Should I take this option or should i go for a newer version and if so: wich one is the best version available now?

Txs for your reactions!

Edwin

Hi,

A member of the Dutch XOOPS forum advised me, before doing anything else, to upgrade to 2.0.16.
What do you guys think of this?
Wouldn't this get the whole thing tangled up even more?
Or would it, as the Dutch members thinks, solve some of the problems...

I hope you guys don't mind me asking for different options and opinions as I feel seriously insecure messing up completely.

Thanks
Edwin
