Very new to XOOPS here as well, In fact just installed and am trying to get WYSIWYG editor works.

In the News Preferences area, I have the options of "HTMLArea Editor, Spaw editor, Compact, DHTML, FCK Editor" in the Form Option section, But only DHTML and Compact that have the content areas in the actual edit page (The Scoop and Extended Text) All other options are missed these sections (can’t edit or see them).

Am I missing something?

Please help

Hi

When I first setup my XOOPS site, I installed a content module with WYSIWYG enabled. I am sure I have added a category (which I can see an input content(pages) to it. But for some strange reasons, I couldn't find where to add more categories to the content anymore.

1.Am I missing something?
2.Is it possible to block some groups to access some centents(pages)?
3. Is it possible to have multi-pages in content module?(page1,2,3..etc)

Thanks

I am sure there is a easy way to do this. For example instead of posting only the News module on the home page (with navigation bar), it should be able to including other information as well (admin message etc). Just look at XOOPS website, if you go to "home" you will see:

Welcome to the afficial.....
Latest XOOPS News...
Recent topics...
.....

Can anyone point out to me how to do that?

Thanks.

Hi,

My News module is the home page content for the site at the moment, but is it possible to have other html info pages to put on the homepage (before News) as well? For example welcome information, or links with graphics to different parts of the site? These extra infos should be ONLY in the homepage though.

Thanks

Hi

My site has
"Premature end of script headers: php-script," problem as well. This error log links to 500 Internal Server Error, and it only happened if I login as Webmaster, and select Chinese language and go to Forum. It I do that as a unregistered visitor then It will be alright(strange).

When I look at the error log on the server it says:

php-script: line 4: 27864 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/php, referer:http://siturl.com/modules/news/
Premature end of script headers: php-script, referer:http://siteurl.com/modules/news/

The error message I get from the browser as bellow:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin@siteurl.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Apache/2.0.50 (Fedora) Server at www.siteurl.com Port 80

Can anyone help please!

Hi,

I am new to XOOPS and am still using Maxdev. One problem I found so far is to insert html contents to a content module, such as WordPress, News etc.

Basically, I want to insert some html tabs into the page such as <br />, <Strong>, <table> etc. At the moment, I am having difficulties in inserting the <table> tab, every time I insert such tab, the page before that will appeared to have a large gap of white space. I can't see any reason for that.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.
