This is only an Alpha version. Please fully test the theme before using on your website.

Is there a demo?
Yes. http://zen.xoops.org.cn/portfolio/purplecrystal/
Please note that the demo is not run on XOOPS.

How to install this theme?
Just put it under the theme folder of your XOOPS.

How to customize it?
The images are in editable PNG format. Open it with Fireworks and edit it.

Please report any bugs that you encounter.

XOOPS China takes on new look

XOOPS China is the community of Chinese XOOPSers. It has been a long time since its last re-design. The original theme was designed several years ago and seems a little "out of fashion". Many active members have proposed to change the theme. And on June 8th, the re-design project launched. After the draft was posted, many members brought up constructive suggestions(see here in Chinese). The coding process started on June 10th and finished on June 11th(see the HTML design here in Chinese). Then the work of applying the design to XOOPS China started. As the XOOPS China is very sophisticated and complex, the works took a whole day and finished on June 12.
Now most of the re-design work has finished(see the new XOOPS China here in Chinese). However, there's still a lot to do. XOOPS China will clean up the content, put up new modules/functions and launch a promotion campaign, so as to create a better community for Chinese XOOPSers.

newave theme 1.10

Well, newave is the first theme that I port to XOOPS. I didn't do much amendment at that time(simply copy'n'paste). There are all kinds of problems.

I found the theme file on my hard disk and decided to amend those problems.

Newave is a table-less theme, so there is really a lot work to do. I have finished a relatively stable version, not perfect, though.

Well, perhaps it's because I didn't define the style in theme.css. I try to keep the themes as they are so I modify only a little part.
