However I have some questions about the theme for Ocean-net. Does anyone know how to contact them, the site is entirely in Japanese?

This theme does seem to work...and I was wrong, templates required tar gz, themes work as before with the theme's folder placed into xoops\themes.

I'm interested in testing orange_peco.zip by ocean-net with 2.2.3a. But the template form for 2.2.3 doesn't seem to pick up unzipped folders automatically and says:

Must be a tar.gz/.tar file with a valid XOOPS template set structure

ocean-net does not seem to offer this theme in a tar only zip; the zip didnt seem to take well (or at all). Is that normal? So, what recourse do I have? The ocean-net site seems to be all Japanese.

peekay was kind enough to send me the zip for the kovoi editor. However it didn't install well. The instructions say to move the wysiwyg folder to modules and place system_imagemanager.html into the system/templates folder. I get errors:

Module File for wysiwyg Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!

And

Notice [PHP]: Constant _MI_TEXT already defined in file modules/xoopspartners/language/english/modinfo.php line 38

I need help with this...the three of main modules that I need to use with XOOPS are not working.

Now I've noticed that I can get to the prefs page, only.

The help files for SmartFAQ on the SmartFactory site seem to be missing.

Carnuke, somewhere you were involved in a discussion about the koivi editor, that it might be placed on your site while things are restored here on xoops.org. I couldn't find that file on your site. Do you know of any place that I can locate it?

Also, is TinyMCE included in the 2.0.13 distribution? I'm not able to find a module to turn on or a zip to download.

You mean, withing each forum, the "Allow HTML" setting? Those are set to yes. I'm not sure what else "I mean 'enable HTML from Moudule admin=>forum'" might point to? As I said I can use the dhtml form type.

Thanks chappy, nice of you to write that much up on the subject. I have a bit of a dilemma here, as I have to assemble a site pretty quickly, and XOOPS is new to me (in fact being a webmaster is new to me). I eval from what you've written that unless there has been a lot of bulletproofing in the url mod routines, I may be making life complicated for myself by persuing this right now. I'd rather start "clean" in the sense that I really pref not to see a bunch of ? params in urls, but not at the expense of reliability. That's two of you that think I might complicate things via simple urls, I don't need that. I'll still fish around, but doesn't look good.

Yes, and I've been able to insert images etc into posts...and can change font colors just like this, but using the (rather clumsy imho) dhtml textbox and control set.

Are those other form packages supposed to come "with" cbb/xoops?
