Saw this in my logs just this morning from 84.233.148.22

/modules/xoopsfaq/index.php?PHPSESSID=11de6b2531082d6f4a05f0a2429dc805

FAQ is my start page.

Have never seen anything like it before. Just applied the 2.0.7.3 patch.

If I uderstand your question correctly, you create a custom block and make that "visible in" the Top Page.

I seached the files on my local HD and found it here:

\xdirectory\language\english\main.php

Line 45 - define("_MD_MODIFY","Modify this Listing");

And just removed Modify this Listing but left the quotes.

Leaves two "||" where the option should be but it doesn't look all that bad.

This might be a temporary work around for some folks. Probably could be put in a custom block or something.

Only if I can't do the following:

Make it so that if anyone OTHER than the user who submitted the listing, tries to modify the listing, they receive an "You are not authorized" type of message.

If that's not possible, then yes, I guess I'd like to remove it.

I've looked everywhere but can't find how to prevent a user from accessing this option.

Even tho it requires admin approval to accept the modification, I'm feeling the option should only be available to the poster.
