FOr example : You have the" menu" rate this thread right here above. On my website, I always see the 5 possibilities of rating, it's already scrolled down ...

I installed the Newbb2 forums, and when I go to them, the menus (for example for search, main menu, mark all as read, ...) are scrolled, and take a lot of space in the head of the forum ... I know it is not my navigator as for example with this forum, everything is perfect ...
Any help would be appreciated ...

Problem with wfdownloads :
I defined categories, to which diffrent groups may or may not access.
For exemple, a public category, where anon can download, and a "private" catgory, where they cannot go.
When anon clicks on the only cat visible, public, it does have that adress modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?cid=1
If it then changes into modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?cid=2 (it is the private category), it does indeed go to the private category, seeing everything ...
Any idea ? I took wfdownloads into inactive mode as the problem is quite big ...

It is possible to avoid certain groups to access certain categories, this is working great, no problemo.
But if I want the top page to show a block with lasts posts, they do all appear, even if the user does not have the right for the category in which the post was posted.
I would like the front page to produce the last posts, but only the ones authorized for the specified group : if the user is not logged in yet, no news (even no title) of posts of not-authorized categories.
When the user is logged and recognized as a member of a group, then the posts for that group would ALSO appear in the top page, under last posts.
Is that possible ?

I am trying to adapt a theme downloaded on the net.
I changed the logo on the top left, and want to add another picture on the top right.
The right picture does not appaer when theme.html is uploaded. I know the path to it is correct on the theme.html.
What is strange, is that if I change and try to put the top lef pic on the top right, it does appear. I the tried to change the name of it (logo2.png), the the picture did not show up again ....
I really can't understand what is happening. I tried to clear the templates_c, the option in the administration panel for automatically changing the templates from thml is on, ...
Any help would be aprreciated ...

I like the new theme of xoops.org much and would lik toknow what theme it is ...
By the way, I found so new things around here and there that are great : the menu (pop up menu should I say ?)when in the forum so that U have a search bar scrolling down, .... Is it in the theme or is it something else ?
Finally, the download theme part : with what module is it proposed ? because I find the review and note with stars always displayed VERY stylish and useful. How was implemented ?

I just wondered what would happen if the server on which i was implementing XOOPS was no mail server ...
The users won't be able to sign in as XOOPS will not be able to send them an e-mail to confirm subscription, right ?
What e-mail account does XOOPS use to send the confirmation e-mails ? Where do we tell Xoops's administration to what smtp adress he has to look for ?

The aim would be to identify XOOPS user as apache users, and then use the apache special features, realms for example.
