Dear Catz,

after clicking the install-button I get the message:

not a valid SQL, can't install

Can you give me a clue of what is happening (or happening not?)

I would like to let users choose the language, exist some way to make it?
I've seen an old post that speaks about the hack
"languageonthefly" but it was for XOOPS 1.0.

Something for XOOPS 2?

I believe my server uses older versions of php and MySQL but I am not sure (and I dont even know how to check on a shared server). I downloaded the files (as I believe you did, instead of changing them by hand, which i tried but made mistakes) and dropped them where the old ones where. Since I had made changes to that files already, by trying to implement other hacks, i was a bit worried things would not work, but fortunately they did. it was actually that simple so I dont know of any other thing to try.

BTW I dont know if this is important but I am using the previous release of xoops, I believe its .02 instead of .03

Hope you fix your issues...

Tom: Good instructions from Catz in the install.txt file

Catz: One file appears missing. If I click on upload manager configuration I get:

/modules/wfsection/admin/imgupload.php was not found on this server.

Other than that, upgrade went without a hitch.

As always Catz, I respect you man, and will help out where I can, have a good break.

And before I go, great work my friend, I look forward to more in the future (after your break of course, pmsl)

One question is this a matter of over writing files with the old ones, or are there any database changes if so how will this effect the older version while upgrading.
