How hard would it be to add a field, or fields, to the xDirectory submit page and, of course, the database?

What changes would have to be made?

Thanks!!! That did it. Everytime I get to thinking I know a little something about Xoops, I find 10 things that I don't have a clue about.

Glad you were hanging around this late. Now I can go to bed with a clear mind.

I even deleted the dadgum file, and it (the old version) is still showing up. I think I need to call an exorcist. Know a good one?

cPanel as in WHM/cPanel. I emptied the templates_c folder in my XOOPS directory, but that didn't help. This is confusing.

Edited with cPanel. The changes are there - I checked. I'm using a cloned template, and the module is xDirectory.

Hope this isn't a completely dumb question. A little dumb I can live with:

I have installed a modified module template html file, and I can't get the darn thing to update. I set the Admin/Prefs update to "yes", went to the Admin/Templates page and clicked "Generate" for the module, and cleared the cache on the browser, but I am still getting the old page.

Just what are the magic words, anyway?

Wonder what's going on with xDirectory and builderb? He had registered the project with SourceForge, but now I see that it is no longer there.

Anyone know where it stands and if he will be releasing a new version, for pay or otherwise, anytime soon?

Try this:

Modify the file modules/news/blocks/news_top.php
this way:

insert ", topicid" between "counter" end "FROM" in this line:
$sql = "SELECT storyid, title, published, expired, counter FROM like this
$sql = "SELECT storyid, title, published, expired, counter, topicid FROM

You must also include ", topicid" in the same location in the similar line after the "else" statement.

NewBB-Global full text notification option?

I guess that the "Global" means that you can't do this for just one forum or one thread. If you check this box, then you get full text of all posts for all forums.

Is that correct?

If so, is there any reasonably simple way to get full text notifications for individual forums or threads?

dionesku,

With your mod, if, on the block admin page, you select certain topics to be displayed, then the topic titles in the block disappear. How can I change this to display either "all topics" or all selected topics?

Thanks.
