NewBB 2.0 losing topics

Hi.

Sorry if it has been discused before, i tried searching in google and nothing.

I'm using NewBB 2.0 in an old 2.0.7.3 XOOPS system, and two very strange things happen:

1 - Topics dissapear: A topic is supposed to have 24 threads, click on it and then I have just six topics. Querying directy to the database (table bb_topics) gives me 24 rows. the right number of topics.

2 - As webmaster, i see LESS topics than as anonymous user. I reviewed all permissions, and I'm supposed to have access, although the Webmasters group is not named "Webmasters" but "Administrators".

What's happening?

Well, my problem appeared again. When i activate smarty debug console I get an Internal Server Error. The site is on SUrpass HOsting and it's controlled via CPanel. Any suggestions?

Hi, guys.

Well, that's it. XOOPS 2.0.15, xLanguage 2.04, when i activate the smarty debug console the system returns a 500 internal server error, no matter what module i'm browsing.

I mean, i can navigate through administrator panel because this doesn't pop up smarty windows, but outside the admin panel nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone.

I have just found one of the weirdest problems i ever seen in Xoops.

When I edit one template and try to save it I get a 403 - forbidden error.

I mean, this happens only when I try to edit "news_index.html" template. I have been editing many others in this and other modules and it always work fine. Every other template can be edited as expected.

Isn't it absurd?

Hi everyone!

I need something like News module but done the way "advanced profiles" is, that is: very easy and flexible way to add or delete content fields.

Most content will be submitted by university professors that have absolutely no motivation to learn anything or even to read a single paragraph of instructions, so the submission system has to be absolutely "foolproof".

Does it exist on XOOPS or should i look for other CMS? Could be Xaraya?

Same problem here with XOOPS 2.2.3. It happens even to new users trying to register.

Perhaps you could use no modules at all in homepage, just blocks.

In config, the start module selected is "none", then 5 blocks (3 center left and two center right) selected to be visible only on main page.
